He has provided the impetus behind several of the city's premiere jazz ensembles, including the McGill Alumni Big Band with Gerald Danovitch, the James Gelfand Quintet and the Ron Di Lauro Quintet. He has performed at every major jazz venue throughout Canada and Europe; his tours have taken him to the Far East, Latin America, and most stops in between.
